Länsi-Ruandasta Mibirizin pesuasemalta tulee aika helmi kahvipapunen.
HasBeanin sivuilta nopeasti poimittuna prosessointi:
“The Mibirizi coffee undergoes meticulous processing and quality control, beginning with careful selection. The cherries are carefully picked when they’re fully ripe. The dry-and-wet fermentation process follows after pulping, and the beans are fully washed with spring water from the mountains. Finally the beans are slowly sun-dried and hand-sorted many times to perfection by women, many of them survivors of the genocide, who work hand-in-hand with their neighbours.”

Sellaista, kotona tämä aeropressiin ja makutestiin.
Odoteltavissa on kuvauksen mukaan:
“In the cup this coffee has a huge mouthfeel with caramel and butterscotch sweetness. Unlike the previous lot we had, this has huge amounts lemon-citrus acidity and a tea-like finish. ”

Itse kaivelin tätä hetken, ja raapustin harakanvarpailla paperille seuraavasti:
Makea, sitrusmainen, hyvin tea-like maku lopussa.
Mikä tästä tulee yhtenäisesti mieleen mielikuvaksi olisi hedelmä ässä-mix, ei niitä kirpeitä, vaan mehuisia.

Kolme pussia on tuossa häsältä, pitänee ottaa kynän kanssa makutuomiot muistakin.
